Dial a Dog Wash

In June 2007 Paul Stamp set up a dog grooming business. He had always enjoyed working with animals and had been thinking about a business venture for some time. When the company he worked for closed suddenly, he used his redundancy money to buy the resources needed to set up the business.

He took advice from his local bank who had a small business adviser and she suggested that he needed to look at the pet grooming industry and carry out market research about competition and the costs of setting up in business. He had some idea about setting up a business and he carried a combination of primary and secondary research about the dog grooming industry. He discovered that the dog grooming industry was worth £35m in 2005 and this had grown to £40m in 2006. He also knew about the importance of producing a business plan which contained all the information needed to give his business a chance of succeeding.

Paul called his company Dial a Dog Wash and initially worked from home. He bought a van and went to customers homes to wash and groom the dogs. He advertised in the local paper and put fliers through houses letterboxes. The business started off well and in the first three months his sales were in line with the budget figures. In his business plan he had produced these budget figures:

After looking at what other companies charged Paul decided to charge £10 for a dog shampoo, £5.00 for nail trimming and £15 for cutting/grooming.

By the end of August, Paul started thinking that he wanted to have his own premises. The business was growing and he was hoping that for the rest of the year, sales would exceed his expectations. He also started to realise that as the business grew the pressure on him increased as well. He had to spend more time with customers, deal with suppliers and also complete the company finances. He had initially set up as a sole trader and was thinking about changing to a partnership so he had someone to help him with the business.

I couldn't remember how to reduce cost,maybe we learned from last year.I didn't study anything with business by last year,therefore at the moment I no any ideas.But I must do it,if I don't ,somebody will hit me and leave some wounds to me.now I had to get a few deformities with my body.let me back to the topic.How to reduce cost.I only can guess 3 ways to reduce.
1) cut employes
2) reduce overhead
3) improve efficiency

I am possessing a lots of company's stock which is "china liantong" ,those were all from half year when would I bought it that was really high price.last friday I changed mind I couldn't still keep stocks.I thought it couldn't give me too many profits for a short term.therefore I on saled half of my total "china liantong" and changed to other stocks which can be made a good profits.

I am so scared now.nearly I dead.just half hour ago,when I was across the traffic light,even I looked the light that was red for walker, I couldnt through it.but I didnt care about the light,I still wanted to pass.The moment has a bus which as 7C was driving toward me.then I didnt know the bus was coming.however I heard some sound that as bus brake. at the time only 30-50cm between the bus and me that it can be runned against me .the diver was so angry and said "something" to me.

Today we will go to talk about the band ,this is a big problem ,then the band make a practice with his group , although they need to a house which doesnt have neighbors around or an abandoned factory,then they can paly and practice and nobady will call the police say they make too much noise I cant sleep or something.but it is really expensive and maybe not too many people cant accept, because they are not famous band,they dont get a lot of salary to pay the hire house.however current they dont need worried about ,I get a good idea for them.go to pub or nightclub and dont need any money just practice,I think the pub who is boss will be very happy to welcome you are go.becasue usually they need to pay some money for some band and invite their go to his pub to performance ,also they are not very famous and they are not attract too many people will go to.

Ice Cream Vending Machine , It's a good idea.It's a perfect idea .but in here maybe not very famous,here's weather is real bad ,you never know what is the next second weather.if the day is very hot you use an ice cream vending machine buy an ice cream and after one second has a big snow is coming. that is real bad. and I am not always see anybody eat ice creams in here.maybe that is in china or some very hot place will be famous.

weaknesses:

This is a difficult topic.becasue I don't like drink too much coffee and if a cup of coffee sells $100.of course I don't buy.it's too expensive for me , The entrepreneur must be know , I am not Bill Gates, not Warren Buffett. assumption(see, i use a new world) I am the entrepreneur , I will free coffee for each person and after they try it. Now the world is really bad than before,we are need to keep it which is ecological . in my eyes england's very better,but in china the ecological is really really bad, like shanghai and beijing,also other big cities,they are air so bad. When I arrived England I don't know why I don't like talk too much with other people .I really don't have too many best-friends.I think it has two reasons,one of the reason it's my English not very nice, so when I talked with somebody , it is more difficult for me.The other reason will be I am not open. I don't like to go to pub, I don't like to go to skate and I don't like do a lots of things.Some people always call me go to pub or skate.I always say it's too expensive for me and something. In fact I don't like to go, so I said that.I don't know why I am so closure. I just like stay at home and use the Internet all day.So now I'm always alone. Now I just want to get better English and I can understand the lesson on the class and other thing is not importance.
